On April 9, 1968, 50 years ago, the funeral of Martin Luther King was held in Atlanta Georgia. This April 9,the Foundation for the Revival of Classical Culture invites you to join us, not to commemorate King’s untimely death, but, rather, to celebrate the triumph of his stand against injustice, even at the cost of his life. “You are never defeated if you don’t stop fighting.”

RESPONSE FROM AUDIENCE

"Thank you for letting me be part of such a beautiful commemoration!"  -H.

"This was the best educational program that I've seen. Outstanding! It was soulfully filling and inspirational!!"  - Principal, Mt. Vernon HS

"I enjoyed the program very much, indeed. It was a tad long due to no intermission but I see how an intermission would NOT have worked with the flow of the program. So, a shorter program may have been more digestible.

"But please don't think that there were parts I didn't enjoy because I was moved MANY times as were the people around me.One of the enjoyable parts for me were the readings by Mr. Asner. He was wonderful and his gruff tone worked so well in the roll it played. A wonderful choice.  Thank you again for a delightful evening."  -M.M.

"I loved the evening, found it so moving and thought-provoking and was moved to tears by the talent and emotion.  Thank you."  -K.

"My son heard about Mondays concert from YPC and we enjoyed it tremendously! He is 13 and attending LaGuardia in the fall and perhaps he can engage in your organization."  -M.
